Zytiga Dramatically Reduces Testosterone Levels

Zytiga dramatically lowers testosterone levels. The above chart shows the reduction in plasma testosterone as a result of Zitiga (Abiraterone, CB7598). At a dose of 0.5 mmol per kg per day testosterone levels are completely ablated to zero. This is equivalent to a dose of 4 tablets of Zytiga daily
These results show that Zytiga is able to achieve total androgen blockade as a single agent and is therefore a powerful new drug for the treatment of prostate cancer.
